Welcome back, everyone! We're back after some inactivity.
As of right now we have dropped Sid O'Hara and the Vinyl Orphans from our label, as they have both disbanned, and are not doing work anymore.
We have, however, picked up techno band Chemical Code, and folk-punk group Muddy Skids.
Chemical Code is hard at work on their first material, and Muddy Skids have a show coming up on June 1st for Junefest

77 Pounds confirms second studio album, 2 more Sid O'Hara releases confirmed
Sid O'Hara sent a letter today to MBD regarding 77 Pounds and a second studio album as a follow-up to the first album "The Sounds Of Reality- Volume 3: You and I" will begin the writing and recording process in September.
"It has just taken me a while to get used to a recording style that I like, and production that is worth-while, so I finally may have a second album arriving soon. I've gotten a lot of requests from friends to record a second album and to include new musicians and whatever else could possibly be added, so I may finally be able to get a second album put together."
Sid also confirmed that there will be up to three more releases before he officially retires the Sid O'Hara name.
"I have been looking around a lot of my old files and found old demos and songs [I wanted out] that were never released, so I will finally get to unveil them to the public and maybe people will get a better insight as to who I was for two years, and then I have at least one last official studio album that is going to be recorded and put together... after that, I think it's time for the Sid O'Hara name to disappear for a while... I will keep working with my various projects [New World DisOrder, 77 Pounds, etc.] but it will be under my actual name."
That is all the news we have for now.
Make sure to download "The Sounds Of Reality- Volume 3: You and I" by 77 Pounds, and "Lucky Man: Act 2: Dreams VS Fears" by Sid O'Hara on the Mad Bulldog Records website!

Moses And The Reeds news, New signings, and MORE
Today, Sid O'Hara sent an email to the Mad Bulldog Records office confirming there will be no second studio album from Moses And The Reeds.
"We just didn't click the first time we split... Jon wasn't much into it, because he was busy with his projects, and I am busy with the Vinyl Orphans, so we can't even possibly plan a second album in the foreseeable future."
Sid O'Hara also confirmed his plans to release one more studio album for the Lucky Man series, and then is considering retiring after the release of that album.
"I think it's just time to move on from something that may not even potentially keep working in the future. I mean... It's been great and everything, but I feel like at this point it would do more bad than good to keep working on music... at least with Mad Bulldog..."
He did, however, confirm that he plans to fulfill his contract for a second 77 Pounds album!
"There is actually a lot of demand from my inner circle for a second album... So if I decide to work on a second album, it will be sometime soon... I have a list of people I want involved on the album, and I have some basic ideas for some songs that we can put together..."
So far, nothing has surfaced as far as any recordings for the next album.
And he ended with news about an album by the Vinyl Orphans
"Well... Joe and I plan on going into the studio sometime soon to do recording for the album. It's not going to be a big deal... We decided to go with Walter Sunoco, who helped with the 77 Pounds album [he recorded the song "New Monster" with Brian Rose and Sid O'Hara] and we figured it's a good idea to go forward with someone of his type of production... It has been kind of difficult picking a producer, but we found someone, so we're going to work with him and hope for the best."
ON AN UNRELATED NOTE
Mad Bulldog recently signed two new acts to the roster...
Thy Sly Deazel and Di Enya have both signed on to Mad Bulldog records as recording artists.
Di Enya has announced that one her album is finished being recorded, it will be sent directly to us.
Thy Sly Deazel has not announced any new releases coming in the near future, but attached at the bottom is a link to the video of his song "So Much"
